Richard Crane Spring Enrichment

CRPUSD is pleased to offer after school enrichment opportunities for your students. Thanks to a generous Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P) grant, we are able to provide these opportunities at low or no cost to our families. A completed form does not guarantee a spot in the program. Fees are waived for all ELO qualified students automatically. A sliding scale may be available if the fee presents a financial hardship.

Math Mania with Ms. Hamilton

The key to math success is automatic knowledge of math facts: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Unfortunately, the only way to acquire memorization of math facts is repeated practice. This class will teach methods of counting on to learn how to figure out the answers to computation problems, and give students practice spurts to work on the math facts that they need to learn to move their math achievement forward. We will have Beat the Clock races, flashcard partner work, and learning games like Around the World. We will move to Math Fact songs, encourage each other, and have fun while becoming Math Masters!
