Welcome to Richard Crane Elementary School!
Richard Crane is a year-round elementary school. At Richard Crane Elementary, we had the unique opportunity of creating a learning environment that utilizes 21st century practices.
Our school was purposefully renovated with modern instructional strategies in mind, so classrooms are infused with the technology and offer flexible layouts to ensure maximum student engagement.

I began my career in education 30 years ago as a classroom teacher. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Sonoma State University and my teaching credential from California State University Northridge. I completed my Master’s in Educational Administration at Sonoma State University. I have taught various grade levels within our school district including, John Reed, La Fiesta, and Thomas Page. I have a strong passion for learning and working with students and teachers to enhance our education system. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also love gardening and taking hikes. I am committed to building a strong supportive community at Richard Crane and proud to be a member of the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District. I look forward to meeting everyone so please stop by and introduce yourself.
Empowering Student Success Through Individualized Learning
At Richard Crane Year-round Elementary School, we are focused on meeting the unique needs of every student. We establish practices that support the learning of the whole child to enable students to reach their learning potential.
Through project based learning (PBL) and experiential activities, students explore the real world by thinking critically, collaborating, creating and communicating their understanding through a variety of methods. When our students move on to middle school, and later high school, they will be empowered to succeed at high levels.
